As I painted, I thought of the countless lives lived here—hidden tzaddikim, mothers lighting candles, children playing on sun-warmed stones. I felt I wasn’t just painting buildings, but honoring the quiet stories they still hold. This is the Yerushalayim our neshamos remember. The one we yearn for.
