Years ago, I searched for one of the earliest visual references of this holy place, hoping to rediscover its untouched essence—the quiet presence that surrounds us as we make our way toward the Kotel.
Creating this painting was an experience filled with depth and emotion. The process began with spontaneous splashes of paint—raw, expressive, and unrestrained. Slowly, from those layers, a sense of calm and clarity took shape.
The City of David is a portrait of stillness and strength—a visual whisper of ancient holiness that continues to watch over us as we return, again and again, to the heart of our faith.
