Soft light washes over the scene, casting a gentle glow across the earth as if it, too, is waiting. As I painted, I thought about that longing we all carry—for Mashiach, for redemption, for a home where everything finally makes sense. This isn’t just a painting of a place. It’s a vision of a return. It’s the feeling of Am Yisrael making its way back—not only from exile, but from all the places we’ve drifted, individually and as a nation.
There’s a stillness in Going Home, but also movement. A sense that something is about to unfold. That we are not far. That the gates are already beginning to open.
